Branding your reports

Team and Practice workspaces can put their own name, colour and logo on reports. This is owner-only, and applies automatically to everyone on the workspace — there's no per-report toggle to remember.

What branding covers​

From Account → Organisation → Branding (owner only), you can set:

  • Practice name — shown instead of (or alongside) your workspace name.
  • Accent colour — decorates the cover and rules of exported reports.
  • Logo — PNG or JPEG, up to 512 KB, ideally 1200px or under on its longest side.

These apply to every member's Full Report PDF automatically — your logo, name and accent colour on the cover — with no separate setting for each export.

A guard on your accent colour​

If you pick an accent colour too close to one of the fixed status colours the app uses to mark a finding (Clear, Attention, or a more serious flag), you'll get a warning — not a block. The idea is to stop a report reading as if a decorative colour is highlighting a constraint finding. You can save the colour anyway if you're confident it won't cause confusion.

What white-label removes — and what it never does (Practice only)​

On Practice, the small "Produced with Planning Constraints" credit is removed from your client portals and the reports clients read through them. On Team, that credit stays everywhere, on every page, regardless of your branding settings.

Two things are never removed, at any tier:

  • The downloadable PDF and Word report's own footer credit. White-label removes our credit from the client-facing portal experience, not from the files themselves.
  • Data attributions — the source lines for planning.data.gov.uk (MHCLG), Historic England, Natural England, the Environment Agency, HM Land Registry, and the Open Government Licence notice. These are licence obligations to the data providers, not our branding, and removing them isn't a setting we offer at any tier.

Removing your branding​

Select Remove all branding to reset every export back to the stock design. This asks for confirmation first, since it affects every member's exports at once.
