Screening a list of sites at once

Bulk screening lets you screen dozens of sites at once by uploading a CSV file. It's available on Practice tier, includes 500 rows per month, and you can run up to 200 rows per job. This is ideal for reviewing a portfolio, shortlisting options or preliminary site appraisal before deep dives.

Opening Bulk​

From the main screen, select Bulk (top navigation).

Preparing your CSV​

Your CSV needs:

  • Header row — the first row must label your columns.
  • Postcode or coordinates — either a postcode column (screening at the postcode sector centroid), or two columns: latitude and longitude (decimal format, WGS84).
  • Address/name (optional) — a column to label each row for your reference.
  • Other columns — any extra data you want to keep in the results (site notes, your internal reference, acquisition cost, etc.) will be carried through to the output CSV.

Running a dry run​

Upload your file and click Dry Run. The app will show you:

  • How many rows it found.
  • What it will charge (based on Practice tier monthly allowance and any overage).
  • Any rows rejected with the reason (e.g. "Outside England", "Invalid postcode").

A dry run costs nothing — just review the preview and confirm.

Screening and results​

Once you confirm, the bulk screen runs server-side. It may take a minute or two depending on file size.

Results appear in a table you can review on screen:

  • Original columns from your CSV.
  • Status per constraint type (green/amber/red) for each site.
  • Overall risk summary (highest severity across all constraints).

Downloading results​

Export your results as a CSV file — this includes your original columns, the constraint statuses and (if you supplied it) your site label. You can then filter, sort and keep only the rows worth pursuing into deeper due diligence.

Coverage and limits​

Bulk screening works in England only. Rows with postcodes outside England, invalid postcodes, or (if using coordinates) points outside England are rejected and noted with a reason in the preview.

Your Practice tier includes 500 rows per month. If you exceed that, you'll see the overage cost before confirming — no surprise charges.

Postcode centroid accuracy​

Postcode rows are screened at the centroid of the postcode unit — a point that can sit in a different parcel or flood cell than the asset itself. For site-accurate screening, supply latitude and longitude columns instead.
